We’re at 90 Clarkston Road (G44 3DA) right in the heart of Cathcart next door to the Couper Institute.
COMING BY BY CAR? There is on street parking around the Church on Clarkston Road but watch out for parking restrictions and parking meters weekdays during the day. Clarkston Road itself can be particularly busy for parking when there are events on at the Couper Institute. You may find alternative on street parking nearby in Elrig Road (G44 3DG) which is located on the other side of the railway line at the rear of the Church. The Church is only a short walk across the railway bridge. The easiest access for Elrig Road is via Merrylee Road. This option may not be suitable for people with poor mobility due to the large number of steps at the railway bridge.
DISABLED PARKING We have limited parking for disabled badge holders (2 spaces) within the Church grounds at the rear of the building (access via Bowling Green Road). There is also a drop-off zone in the church grounds if you are just dropping someone off.
COMING BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT? First Bus Nos 4 and 6 stop outside the Church on Clarkston Road. Please check the First Bus Website for times www.firstgroup.com/ukbus/glasgow. Cathcart Railway Station is located on Holmlea Road (G44 4ED) and is only a 5 minute walk from the Church. The Cathcart Circle Line & the Neilson Line from Glasgow Central both stop there (please note: the Newton train does not stop at Cathcart).
